DEUTZ Australia expands into larger Melbourne premises

DEUTZ Australia is on the move with spacious new Melbourne premises that offer training facilities for dealers and OEMs.

The exciting development follows recent growth in the business and the success of DEUTZ’s Drive and Genset programs.

Staff relocated from Springvale to the modern Dandenong South facility in March and already feel connected to their employee-friendly new workplace.

The new warehouse is three times bigger and offers more space for all DEUTZ operations, including warehousing and product testing. It also has in-house training facilities, which the old premises did not.

DEUTZ Australia Managing Director Craig Chamberlin says the move allows for more growth, which bodes well for the future. “It became necessary to have a larger facility that could accommodate growth,” he says.

As well as being contemporary and spacious, the new premises are more practical.

Operations staff who previously used two warehouses in different locations now have everything under one roof.

Staff also have a new entertainment area that they have been charged with designing. It features several kitchens and more room to meet, hang out and connect.

Craig says staff have found the new facility larger, nicer and more functional.

He says it also provides an improved customer experience, with a much faster product turnaround out of the workshop and warehouse.

Those who haven’t seen our new Melbourne headquarters are in for a treat. Those who haven’t visited yet are sure to be impressed once they enjoy a tour,” Craig says.
