LIEBHERR ALLIANCE

There have been some exciting global developments for the DEUTZ brand over the last few months, which confirm DEUTZ as a forward thinking global engine leader.

DEUTZ AG and one of the world’s largest equipment manufacturers – Liebherr, have formed a strategic alliance, which will see DEUTZ being granted worldwide sales and service rights for 200 to 700kW diesel engines for a variety of applications.

These engines are an ideal fit with DEUTZ’s product portfolio. DEUTZ plans to sell them under its own brand to its customers, including via its network of dealers.

Furthermore, an expansion in the use of DEUTZ engines in Liebherr’s machines up to 150kW is planned.

WORLD PREMIERE

In other global news, DEUTZ AG had its world premiere of its new TCD 9.0 Engine in Bauma China – Asia’s biggest trade fair for construction.

The world premiere of the new TCD 9.0 is the highlight for DEUTZ at this year’s Bauma.

This four-cylinder diesel engine with a capacity of nine litres is the first in a new generation of engines that DEUTZ is planning as part of their alliance with the Liebherr Group.
