Certified Safety and Performance in Electrification
The innovative electric technologies we develop at DEUTZ make us a trusted partner on the journey to a more sustainable future.
Redefining Efficiency, Durability and Sustainability
Climate change is one of the greatest global challenges of our time. That’s why it’s essential to set a clear course toward decarbonisation by 2050—by bringing to market the technologies that will make it possible.
Around the world, cities and regions are already planning zero-emission zones and construction sites to protect the environment and enhance quality of life. As demand grows for sustainable, high-efficiency solutions, attention is increasingly turning to electric drives—transformative technologies that will shape the future.
At DEUTZ, we see electric drive systems as central to achieving this goal. We’re committed to reducing CO₂ emissions across the off-road sector, and we believe an open, technology-neutral approach is the key to long-term success. That’s why we’re developing a broad portfolio of solutions—to provide the right, most sustainable option for every application.

Knowledge Hub
Alongside electric drives, alternative fuels are key to improving the carbon footprint of internal combustion engines. Biodiesel is one option, but DEUTZ engines can also run on synthetic fuels and hydrogen.
Synthetic fuel made from hydrogen and CO2 captured from ambient air is considered carbon-neutral if the hydrogen has been produced using 100 percent renewable energy. This is also the case where green hydrogen is used directly to fuel an internal combustion engine.
DEUTZ Battery Energy Storage Systems ensure uninterrupted power for your off-grid sites by storing energy generated from renewable sources like solar and wind.
