Global Fire Solutions has recently been awarded a five year contract to supply the South Australian Country Fire Service (CA CFS) with Darley pumpsets powered by DEUTZ Whispa Diesel Firefighter engines.
A DEUTZ customer of more than 10 years, the SA CFS have chosen the Whispa range for it’s higher horsepower rating, low noise level and light weight compared to other manufacturers.
Trevor, GFS Director, says the Whispa range suits the gear driven Darley range of pumps exceptionally well as performance criteria set by the Fire Service is achieved at less than maximum power and rpm.
