As another year draws to a close, it’s my pleasure to wish you, your team and your family a safe and happy Christmas and New Year on behalf of everyone at DEUTZ Australia.
We hope that 2020 brings you good health and great success – at work and at home. We’ve had another busy and fruitful year at DEUTZ.
Our popular new range of portable gensets is still making waves after their release early this year. The reliable and versatile products are tailored to local needs, with new models continually being developed.
We also celebrated the success of our locally developed DEUTZ Drive engine. Our number one engine solution got even bigger as we released our newest model with 300kW of power.
In March, DEUTZ Australia moved into spacious new Melbourne premises with training facilities for dealers and OEMs. This exciting development followed growth in the business and the success of our Drive and Genset programs. Staff quickly settled into the modern Dandenong South facility, which has a warehouse three times bigger than the old one.
In June, DEUTZ AG was named one of Germany’s TOP 100 innovators. The business was recognised for its successful forward thinking and scored highly in the ‘Innovative Processes and Organisation’ category.
As global revenue rose in the first nine months of 2019, DEUTZ AG strengthened its key battery technology expertise by purchasing battery specialist Futavis GmbH. It also established a new central genset production site in Morocco.
DEUTZ AG also entered a joint venture with SANY, China’s largest construction equipment manufacturer, to build a high-performance engine factory in the Hunan province. The local government supported project is part of SANY’s intelligent heavy truck project and will use DEUTZ’s innovative engine technology.
We could not do any of this without you, our partners and customers. Your support and enthusiasm have helped make this another positive year for all of us. On a personal note, please accept my thanks you for your continued contribution. We look forward to working closely with you in 2020.
