Last year we profiled Global Fire Solutions (GFS) who recently won a five-year contract with the South Australian Country Fire Service (SA CFS) and are using pumps powered by DEUTZ Whispa Diesel Firefighter engines.
A DEUTZ customer of more than 10 years, the SA CFS have chosen the Whispa range for it’s higher horsepower rating, low noise level and light weight compared to other manufacturers.
Trevor, GFS Director, says the Whispa range suits the gear driven Darley range of pumps exceptionally well as performance criteria set by the Fire Service is achieved at less than maximum power and rpm.
