Power outages are the last thing a farm or business needs during peak operating periods.
DEUTZ standby generators offer uninterrupted portable electricity, and peace of mind knowing you’ll never run out of power.
DEUTZ Power Solutions can tailor a state-of-the-art standby system to guarantee supply and meet your individual needs.
Our powerful Gensets can quickly step up during a power failure or enhance existing systems if they reach capacity.
How do standby generators work?
The standby power is contained in a DEUTZ generator, which combines an internal combustion engine and an electrical generator (alternator) mounted together.
Automatic transfer switches (ATS) move power from the main utility supply to the alternate power sources when the main utility supply is interrupted.
A facility may have one or several independent emergency power systems.
After utility power returns, the ATS transfers the electrical load back to the utility and signals the standby generator to shut off.
A standby generator can also supplement an original power supply that is inadequate during peak periods.
