This vintage DEUTZ diesel engine helped power Melbourne’s old State Theatre and is starring in a social media campaign to find Australia’s oldest DEUTZ engine.

Melbourne Steam Traction Engine Club volunteers saved the 1928 German made four-cylinder vertical two-stroke diesel engine and are keen to restore it.
